COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State golfers Erin Borowiec (So., South Lyon, Mich./Mercy) and Kristen White (So., Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) were two of 297 student-athletes named to the Division I, II and III National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Teams.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent of all collegiate athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50 and 3.40 for seniors. Student-athletes must have competed in at least 66 percent of the school’s regularly scheduled rounds during the year.

Borowiec finished her sophomore campaign with a 79.77 stroke average. She helped the Buckeyes to their second-consecutive Big Ten championship.

White, the 2003 Big Ten Player of the Year, garnered Second Team All-America honors while competing for the Buckeyes in all 40 rounds. She led the team with a 74.15 stroke average and set the school record for one round, shooting a 66 during the first round of the Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational.
