COLUMBUS, Ohio-The Ohio State men’s and women’s basketball teams have a new court to play on this season. The new hardwood will have an updated look; will feature redesigned Value City logos and Ohio State’s new scarlet color in the center court logo and the area bordering the playing floor.

The lanes, which were painted solid scarlet on the original court, are not painted with the new design.

The basketball teams have played on the facility’s original court for seven seasons, dating back to the opening of Value City Arena in the fall of 1998.

The men’s team has posted a home record of 91-22 (a winning percentage of .805) overall at VCA, which includes a 14-2 mark a season ago. The Buckeyes have not had a losing home record at Value City Arena in the seven seasons on the old floor. The women’s team posted a 75-23 record in seven seasons on the old floor and has won its last 17 games in VCA.
