Todays game was the first meeting between Bowling Green andNebraska.
After going 29 games since his last home run, Lee Morrison has nowhit home runs in two straight games.
Bob Niemet added to his school record for hits in a season with afourth-inning single. Niemet has recorded 80 hits on the year tosurpass the old record of 67.
Niemet also extended his school record for total bases in a season.He broke the record with a double against Ohio State on Friday andnow has 119.
Bowling Green finished the season with a 36-24 record.

Justin Cowans two-run home run was his ninth of the season andfirst since May 15th against Kansas State. Cowan knocked in fourruns today. It was the fifth game this season in which he hasknocked in at least four runs.
Jamal Strong extended his career-long hitting streak to 13 with afirst-inning single.
Ken Harvey, the nations leading hitter, extended his hitting streakto 14 games with a single in the seventh. He has reached base in 54of the 56 games he has played in. His two-run single tied him withPaul Meyers for second in single-season RBI. He is three hits awayfrom tying the single season record for hits held by FrancisCollins (109 in 1997). His error was only his second of the seasonand first since March 6th.
Nebraska failed to steal a base for the first time since April30th.
Brandt Vlieger tied a career high with four hits. It is the thirdtime this season he has picked up four hits in a game.
