Columbus, Ohio – Nationwide announced today a multi-year sponsorship of all 36 varsity sports at The Ohio State University.
Nationwide is a strong supporter of Ohio State on the academic and philanthropic front, contributing to advancing education and technology. Nationwide is building on its commitment to the university and community by supporting Ohio State athletics across all varsity sports.
“From football to soccer to lacrosse, we hope our support makes a difference,” said Amy Shore, Nationwide Insurance’s regional vice president of Ohio and West Virginia. “We’ve also extended our sponsorship beyond athletics by providing the best band in the land with the best new uniforms.”
The partnership also includes sponsorship of Block “O” student spirit group, the Buckeye Championship Sports Tour, the Scarlet & Gray Football Game and Skull Sessions. Nationwide’s logo will appear on signage in the Ohio Stadium, on ticketbacks and on all sports schedule cards and posters.
Nationwide and Ohio State have a long history of serving the community. Nationwide’s support for OSU spans 55 years and areas of focus include agriculture, health, business, diversity and now athletics. The relationship has improved diversity programs a both institutions and provides scholarships that enable more students to experience OSU.
