%^$COLUMBUS, Ohio-Former Ohio State men’s swim team member Cameron Mull (Lansing, Mich./Lansing Everett) continued to perform well yesterday in the U.S. Olympic Trials in Indianapolis after posting a 10th-place finish in the semifinals of the 200-meter freestyle with a time of 1:50.49.%^$
%^$Mull, who set a new OSU record after finishing 14th in the 400-meter freestyle preliminary race on Wednesday, qualified for the 200-freestyle semifinal after taking a 13th-place finish in the preliminary race with a time of 1:51.10. The top-eight will move on to the final race, with the top-two swimmers being named to the Olympic squad.%^$
%^$Also competing at the trials yesterday was Travis Carver (Jr., Overland Park, Kan./Blue Valley), who finished 53rd in the 400-individual medley and 71st in the 200-freestyle. Carver is not scheduled for any other events.%^$
%^$Events scheduled for today are the 100-backstroke, 200-butterfly and the 200-freestyle finals. The Olympic Trials will continue until Aug. 16.
