COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State men’s volleyball Mark Greaves (Jr., Fenton, Mo.) was named to the 2005 NCAA Men’s Volleyball Championship All-Tournament Team Saturday night at UCLA. Greaves was joined by Alex Gutor of Penn State, Paul Johnson and Jonathan Acosta of Penn State and Jon Parfitt, Jonathan Winder and Sean Rooney of Pepperdine. Rooney was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Tournament in leading the Waves to a 3-2 (30-23, 23-30, 24-30, 30-25, 15-10) come-from-behind victory over UCLA in the NCAA Championship match Saturday night. Pepperdine finishes the season at 24-2 while UCLA is 26-6.

Greaves scored a team-high 14 kills while hitting .200 in their semifinal 0-3 (16-30, 29-31, 26-30) loss to Pepperdine. He added two ace serves and five digs against the Waves.
