COLUMBUS, Ohio The Ohio State men’s track and field team competed in a rain-shortened third day of the Sea Ray Relays. The Buckeyes did not send any multi-event athletes during the first days of competition for the Buckeyes

Anthony Cole took ninth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.28, but the time will not count as a regional qualifier because of a wind 7.5. In the 110 hurdles, Jonathan Francois took 17th against one of the toughest fields in the country. Matt Comer took 14th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 47.91.

The rain forced an early end to day and most of the field events were not able to finish competitions. Weather permitting action resumes at 8 a.m. on Saturday in Knoxville, Tenn.
