COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s tennis team blanked Temple 7-0 Friday in the first day of competition at the Navy Invitational in Annapolis, Md. OSU won all six singles matches while taking two of the three doubles matches.

Four Buckeyes notched wins in singles and doubles. Freshmen Andrew Metz (Mentor, Ohio) and Vincent Ng (Broadview Heights, Ohio) combined for an 8-0 win in doubles while winning their respective singles matches. Juniors Andrew Carlson (Gambrills, Md.) and Chris Porter (Canton, Ohio) joined forces for an 8-3 win in doubles while each cruised to singles victories.

Ohio State resumes play today, battling UNC-Greensboro and Navy.
