COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s tennis team had a banner day Thursday at the Stickney Tennis Center, sweeping all of its singles and doubles matches over Robert Morris. No team scoring was kept in the competition, but the individual and doubles matches will count to each player’s individual record.
Andrew Carlson (Jr., Gambrills, Md.) led the Buckeyes with two singles wins and a doubles win. Paul Mazak (So., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio) notched two singles wins, while Matt Wooster (So., Huron, Ohio), in his first competition as a Buckeye, put up a win in singles and doubles.
Ohio State returns to action next weekend, competing in Toledo’s Rocket Indoor as well as Penn’s Penn Invitational.
