COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State men’s tennis juniors Scott Green and Ross Wilson advanced to the final round at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American Championship Saturday in Chattanooga, Tenn. The OSU pair defeated Mississippi State’s Luis Carvalho and Jose-Carlos Pinto, 8-3, in semifinal action. This is the furthest advancement for Green and Wilson in a national tournament and the first final round appearance for a Buckeye in program history.

Green (North Canton, Ohio/Hoover) and Wilson (Toledo, Ohio/Toledo St. Francis de Sales) will face New Mexico’s David Kowalski and Ryan Stotland at 10:30 a.m. Sunday in the final championship match.

The four semifinalist teams automatically qualify for the second national tournament of the 2004-05 season, the ITA National Indoor Championship Nov. 4-7 in An Arbor, Mich.
