COLUMBUS, Ohio Bryan Koniecko, a junior on the Ohio State men’s tennis team, had his three-match win streak snapped in the final of the consolation bracket at the 2007 ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships Sunday. The Long Island, N.Y., native lost to Dominc Inglot of Virginia by a 6-1, 6-2 score.
 
Koniecko knocked off No. 3 seed Robert Farah of USC in the consolation semifinals Saturday, 7-6(9), 5-7, 6-4, after beating Mislav Hizak of Embry-Riddle, 6-2, 6-3, in the consolation quarterfinals. Koniecko began his three-match win streak against Harvard’s Dan Nguyen, 6-0, 5-7, 6-2.

Up next, the Buckeyes head to Ann Arbor, Mich., for the 2007 Big Ten Indoor Tournament. The event is being hosted by the University of Michigan at Varsity Tennis Center from Nov. 9-12.
