COLUMBUS, Ohio–The Ohio State men’s soccer team will battle the Columbus Crew (MLS) in the first Connor Senn Memorial Match at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. Senn, a freshman member of the OSU men’s soccer team, died Sept. 26, 2001, after collapsing during the Ohio State at Akron match.

Tickets are $3 for adults and $1 for students (with ID) and those under 18. A portion of the proceeds will go toward the Connor Senn Memorial Scholarship Fund, which will benefit a men’s soccer student-athlete.

Prior to the match, both teams will gather for a joint photo and Crew President/GM Jim Smith will present the men’s soccer team with a Crew jersey bearing Senn’s name and “No. 1” on the back. During the match, The Crew will auction off a team-signed jersey and the men’s soccer team will be selling miniature soccer balls. Post game, there will be a 30-minute autograph session featuring Ohio State and The Crew.
