Columbus, Ohio -The Ohio State mens lacrosse team captured their first-ever Great Western Lacrosse League championship today when the defeated the University of Denver 7-5. At 3-1 in the conference, the Buckeyes, ranked No. 19 in the country in the latest STX/USILA poll, share the title with Butler and Notre Dame. The win pushes OSUs overall record to 9-3 with only a home game against Gannon at 1 p.m. Saturday remaining. The Buckeyes last league crown came in 1988 when they were a part of the Great Lakes Conference.
