COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s lacrosse team will tune up for the regular season with two scrimmages Sunday. The Buckeyes will take on Denison at 6 p.m. and Ohio Wesleyan at 8:30 p.m., with both games on the indoor turf field at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.

The Buckeyes, ranked 19th in the preseason polls, opens their regular season at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus.

Ohio State was 9-5 last season and placed third in the Great Western Lacrosse League with a mark of 3-2. The squad returns 29 letterwinners, including nine starters, from the 2002 team that ended the year tied for 19th in the national poll.
