COLUMBUS, Ohio – Members of the Ohio State men’s gymnastics team gave back to the community Friday night at the Buckeye Blanket Bash, uniting to make personalized blankets and cards for patients at the James Cancer Hospital, which they will have to opportunity to deliver bedside at a later date.

“This was personally my favorite community service event we have done this year,” redshirt freshman Paris McGee Jr. said. “It is something that really hits home for me, because I have many people who were close to me who have passed of cancer and who have cancer now, so being able to give the peace back to patients at the James means a lot to me.”

“It was great to see so many team members here helping today,” sophomore Brandon Jacoby said. “I think this is a testament to show how much we care and want to give back to the community.”

Ohio State is set to compete at their season opener in Chicago on Sunday, January 17 at 4 p.m. ET. The event will be live streamed, and can be found at the following link.
