Columbus, Ohio–The Ohio State men’s golf team finished the first day of the Marshall Invitational in Huntington W. Va. in a three way tied for fourth place. The Buckyes are knotted with Indiana and Ohio University with a score of 588 after the first two rounds.

Michigan is in first place with a score of 576, 8 shots ahead of Miami (Ohio) at 584. OSU was led by David Wagenseller (So., Wilmington, Ohio/Wilmington) who shot 74-71=145 to tie for 12th place. Mike Austin (Jr. Burton, Mich./Flint Powers) and Jason Oien (So. Westerville, Ohio/Westerville) are both in 22nd place after shooting 147.

The final round of the invitational will be played tomorrow afternoon.
