COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team remains in second place after two rounds at the 2003 Landfall Tradition. The Buckeyes posted a second-round score of 290 and are five strokes off the lead. Ohio State enters final competition with a two-round total of 576. The event is being held at the par 72, 6,973-yard, Country Club of Landfall, Nicklaus Course, in Wilmington, N.C.

Buckeye senior Justin Collins (Ironton, Ohio/Ironton) posted a second-round total of 74 and is tied for third heading into final competition with a two-round total of 140. Teammate Brett Williams (Sr., Circleville, Ohio/Otterbein) fired a second round of even-par and remains tied for seventh place.

Chris Noel from Tulsa leads the field going into the final round with a two-round total of 135, while Minnesota leads all teams with a two-round total of 571.

Final round competition begins at 8:45 a.m. Sunday with a shotgun start.
