ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Ohio State men’s golf team moved up three positions into a tie for the No. 6 spot. In third round action the Buckeyes recorded an 8-under-par 280 for a three day total of 850.

Through three rounds of play, the Buckeyes continue to be led by their senior trio. Ryan Armour (Sr., Silver Lake, Ohio) bounced back from yesterday’s performance to shoot a 5-under-par 67. Armour moved into a tie for 11th place with a three round total of 209. Two other Buckeyes shot sub-par rounds on the day. Craig Matthew (Sr., Pointe Claire, Quebec) recorded a 69 moving him up 15 places into a tie for 17th place, while Jeff Brown (Sr., Columbus, Ohio) racked up a 1-under-par 71, which moved him into a tie for 36th place.

Heading into the final round the Buckeyes trail team leading UNLV by 21 strokes. Final round play will resume tomorrow morning in Albuquerque, N.M.
