ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Ohio State men’s golf team moved up three positions into a tie for the No. 6 spot. In third round action the Buckeyes recorded an 8-under-par 280 for a three day total of 850.

%^$Through three rounds of play, the Buckeyes continue to be led by their senior trio. Ryan Armour (Sr., Silver Lake, Ohio) bounced back from yesterday’s performance to shoot a 5-under-par 67. Armour moved into a tie for 11th place with a three round total of 209. Two other Buckeyes shot sub-par rounds on the day. Craig Matthew (Sr., Pointe Claire, Quebec) recorded a 69 moving him up 15 places into a tie for 17th place, while Jeff Brown (Sr., Columbus, Ohio) racked up a 1-under-par 71, which moved him into a tie for 36th place.

%^$Heading into the final round the Buckeyes trail team leading UNLV by 21 strokes. Final round play will resume tomorrow morning in Albuquerque, N.M.%^$
