COLUMBUS, Ohio–The Ohio State men’s golf team finished third at the 2002 Marshall Invitational. The Buckeyes shot 298-295-295=888. Buckeye senior Doug Wade (73-73-71=217) led the Buckeyes. He tied for second place overall with Geoff Lound of Illinois.

Toledo shot 289-296-292=877 to claim the 20-team tournament at the Guyan Golf and Country Club, a par 71, 6,446-yard course in Huntington,W.Va. John Holmes of Kentucky was the individual medalist with an even par 213 (71-71-71).
