COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team concluded play at the 2004 Bruce Fossum Invitational Sunday and finished seventh with a total 901.The event was held at the par 72, 7,013-yard Forest Akers Golf Course in East Lansing, Mich.

Junior Scott Anderson (Jr., Great Falls, Mont./Great Falls) lead all Buckeye golfers as he fired a three-round total of 224 to finish tied for 15th. Zach Doran (Sr., Dublin, Ohio/Columbus Academy) also turned in a solid tournament for Ohio State finishing with a three-round total of 226 to finish tied for 21st.

Indiana’s Jeff Overton captured individual medallist honors with a total of 210. The Hoosiers also claimed the team title with a final tournament score of 880.

The Ohio State men’s golf team returns to action May 7 in Ann Arbor Mich. to compete in the 2004 Big Ten Championships. The Buckeyes will be gunning for their 23rd conference title.
