COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team concluded their 2002 fall season Tuesday at the Aztec Invitational. The Buckeyes finished the tournament in seventh place with a combined score of 861. The tournament was held at the par-72, 7,088-yard Barona Creek Golf Course in Lakeside, Calif. San Diego State played host to the 54-hole event.

The top finisher for the Buckeyes was Zach Doran (Jr., Dublin, Ohio) who finished tied for fifth place. Doran finished the final round of the tournament with a score of 3-under par, 69. His round of 69 marks the ninth time this season Doran has shot under par.

Also turning in a strong performance for the Buckeyes was Darren Lundgren (So., Baldwin, Mo.). Lundgren concluded the final round of the fall season firing a 69. Lundgren finished the tournament tied for 27th.

The Buckeyes will return to action Feb. 8 at the Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Fla., to begin the spring season.
