%^$EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Ohio State men’s golf team could not overcome the Indiana Hoosiers in the final round of golf at the Big Ten Championship. The Buckeyes fell three strokes short of winning their fourth consecutive Big Ten Title.%^$

%^$Despite having their string of Big Ten titles snapped, the Buckeyes came away with the individual title. Ryan Armour (Sr., Silver Lake, Ohio) was crowned the individual medalist scoring a 1-under-par 287. Armour broke his tie with Corey Sullivan from Indiana with a stellar final round performance. Armour saved his best for last, recording a 70 in the final round. %^$

%^$Two other Buckeye individuals finished within the top 15. Senior Craig Matthew (Pointe Claire, Quebec) and freshman Mike Austin (Burton, Mich.) finished 11th and tied for 15th, respectively. %^$

%^$The Buckeyes will compete in the NCAA Men’s Golf Central Regional at Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio, Texas, May 14-16. The top eight teams will advance to the NCAA Championships in Albuquerque, N.M.%^$
