Columbus, Ohio–The Ohio State men’s golf team shot 890 and tied for fifth place with Ohio University at the Marshall Invitational in Huntington W. Va..

Michigan won the invititational with a score of 877, four shots ahead of Miami (Ohio) at 881. Iowa’s Matt Stutzman was the medalist, shooting one over par at 214.

OSU was led by David Wagenseller (So., Wilmington, Ohio/Wilmington) who shot 74-71-74=219 to tie or eighth place. Mike Austin (Jr. Burton, Mich./Flint Powers) and Jason Oien (So. Westerville, Ohio/Westerville North) both placed 22nd after shooting 223.

Ohio State will host the 30th Kepler Intercollegiate Invitational on Friday, April 14th and Saturday, April 15th.
