COLUMBUS, Ohio– The Ohio State men’s golf team finished with a score of 892 to place eighth Sunday at the Bruce Fossum-Taylor Made Invitational in East Lansing, Mich. The Buckeyes recorded a round of 302 on the final day. The event was held at the par 72 Forest Akers West Golf Course (7,013 yards).

Ohio State sophomore Jamie Miller (Silver Creek, N.Y./Silver Creek Central) tied for 11th place on the individual leaderboard, finishing with a score of 219. Teammate Colin Biles (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) tied for 24th with a mark of 222.

Big Ten foe Minnesota claimed the team title, shooting 867. Ben Greve of Minnesota and Indiana’s Jeff Overton tied for medalist honors with a six-under score of 210.

Ohio State will vie for its second consecutive Big Ten title May 7-8 at the conference championships in Madison, Wis.
