DURHAM, N.C. – The Ohio State men’s golf team tied for seventh at the rain-shortened Iron Duke Golf Classic firing a second round 296 in the 36-hole tournament. The Buckeyes shot a 305-296=601 to tie Tulsa for the No. 7 position in the 18-team tournament. The host Blue Devils of Duke won the event (291-295=586).

David Wagenseller (So., Wilmington, Ohio) led the Buckeyes with a 74-75=149 to tie for 15th place. Wayne Raath of Florida Southern was the event medalist (70-71=141).

The Buckeyes have completed the fall schedule and will next be in action Jan. 31-Feb. 1 at the Arizona Ping Invitational.
