ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Ohio State men’s golf team finished in sixth place at the NCAA Championships, wrapping up another tremendous season for the Buckeyes. The Buckeyes were the highest placing northern school, edging out Minnesota by two strokes. The Big Ten Player of the Year, James McLean from Minnesota, was crowned the NCAA individual champion.

The sixth place finish becomes coach Jim Browns 11th top ten NCAA Championships finish in 25 years at Ohio State.

Leading the Buckeyes to their sixth place finish were Ryan Armour (Sr., Silver Lake, Ohio) and Craig Matthew (Sr., Pointe Claire, Quebec). Armour and Matthew tied for 15th place. Each recorded a 7-under-par 281. Jeff Brown (Sr., Columbus, Ohio) finished the tournament with a 1-over-par 289 and tied for 42nd place.

The Buckeyes have concluded another stellar season.
