Columbus, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s and eighth-ranked women’s golf teams continued play with second-round action Saturday at The Landfall Tradition. The men’s team currently stands in fifth place with a score of 575 (287-288) while the women slipped to eighth with a score of 598 (299-299). The competition features a field of 12 men’s squads and a field of 12 women’s teams in two separate tournaments. The event is being held at the par 72 Jack Nicklaus Course in Wilmington, N.C.

Ohio State sophomore Colin Biles (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) led the men’s squad in the second round with a score of 69 (-3). Biles is tied for third on the individual leaderboard with a composite score of 139 (-5). Teammate Scott Anderson (Sr., Great Falls, Mont./Great Falls) is tied for 14th place, shooting 142 (-2).

Ohio State senior Kristen White (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) paced the women’s team on day two with a round of 73 (+1). White and classmate Lindsay Knowlton (Toronto, Ontario/Havergal) are tied for 14th place with scores of 147 (+3).

The third and final round of The Landfall Tradition is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Sunday.
