Men’s 4x400m Relay Takes Seventh at NCAA Championships

Eugene, Ore. – The 2017 campaign to an end on Friday night at Hayward Field for the Ohio State men’s track and field team with a 33rd-place showing (eight team points) at the NCAA Championships. The Buckeyes received six points from Nick Demaline’s third-place finish in the shot put on Wednesday night, and then the 4x400m relay pitched in two points this evening with a seventh-place finish.

The foursome of Asa Burke, Nick Gray, Deshawn Marshall and Champ Page clocked a readout of 3:05.27 to wrap up the season as the seventh-best 4x400m relay squad in the nation. For Ohio State, it’s the third year in a row that the Buckeyes have earned First Team All-America honors in the 4x400m relay, a feat that has never been accomplished in school history.

Florida won the team title with 61.5 points.
