Megan Carr Joins Buckeye Program

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Indiana native Megan Carr is coming to Columbus and will compete for the Ohio State women’s volleyball team as a freshman in 2017. She graduated high school early and spent a semester at Butler University before becoming a Buckeye. The defensive specialist was a three-year captain for Zionsville Community High School.

“Megan has a tremendous competitive spirit that will fit perfectly with our incoming class,” Geoff Carlston, head coach, said. “We are all pretty excited that she will be joining our Buckeye family this fall as one of our radsters.”

Carr played in every set (403) of her high school career as a four-year starter. She holds both the single-season (598) and career digs (1,605) record for Zionsville High. Led the Eagles to the 2016 Class 4A Final Four after progressing through the school’s first ever Regional title. Found success in competing for the Munciana Volleyball Club as well, including a 2014 AAU National Runner Up in Orlando.

The daughter of Julie and Steve. Has a younger brother, Ryan.
