Sophomore guard Evan Turner led the team in scoring for the 10th time this season, contributing 26 points. It was the 19th game this season that Turner has scored in double digits and sixth time he has scored 20 or more points.

Turner also recorded his sixth double-double of the season and eighth of his career with 26 points and 12 rebounds and tied a career high with seven assists.

Turner is averaging 26.3 points and 9.0 rebounds over the last three games. In that span he has shot 65.7 percent (25-38).

In three career games against Purdue, Turner averages 16.3 points (8, 15 and 26).

Freshman guard William Buford scored 22 points, his second-consecutive output of 20 or more points. It was also the 13th game this season he has been in double figures and 12 of the last 14.

Freshman center B. J. Mullens finished the game with 17 points and tied a season high with eight field goals.

For the second-consecutive game, Ohio State had two players with at least 20 or more points.

The Buckeyes are 42-16 against Big Ten Conference opponents in Value City Arena.

Junior guard P.J. Hill had a career-high 6 assists and 26 minutes played.
