COLUMBUS, Ohio-The Ohio State men’s basketball team spent Saturday afternoon like they do many other days at the practice facility attached to Value City Arena.

Typically the players toil away the hours with their coaches working at the game they love. Saturday about 60 boys suffering from life-threatening illnesses got away from their battles to enjoy time with their fathers and members of the Ohio State men’s basketball team.

A Kid Again, a program the men’s basketball team has worked with for more than 10 years, works with about 600 families in the Columbus area who have children battling illness.

Saturday was a day a portion of those families were issued Ohio State basketball gear to practice right alongside the players.
