OSU BIG TEN TOURNAMENT HISTORY
 The Buckeyes are 10-7 all-time in Big Ten Tournament play since the event began in 1998. Ohio State is the No. 5 seed in 2009 and have won six of its last eight league tournament games. As the fifth seed, the Buckeyes are 1-1 after the win over Wisconsin Friday.

BUCKEYES IN THE CIRCLE CITY
 Ohio State is 5-2 in Indianapolis in five seasons under Thad Matta. Earlier this year, the Buckeyes knocked off then-No. 7 Notre Dame, 67-62, at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Buckeyes are 3-2 in Big Ten tournament games played in Indy, picking up the remaining win in the Wooden Tradition vs. Cincinnati, 72-50, Dec. 16, 2006.

BUCKEYE RALLY VS. BADGERS FIRST OF SEASON
 Ohio State won for the first time this season when trailing its opponent at the 5:00 mark of the second half Friday. The Buckeyes were down 54-47 to the Badgers but rallied for the 61-57 victory. Ohio State was 0-7 entering the Wisconsin game when trailing at the 5:00 mark. When Ohio State holds the lead at that point, the Buckeyes are 19-1 this season and 113-5 with Thad Matta at the helm the last five seasons.
 
HOT SHOOTING CONTINUES
 Ohio State has shot 50 percent of better 16 times this season and for the 12th time vs. Big Ten opponents after hitting on 19-of-38 (.500) vs. the Badgers Friday.

THE WISCONSIN SERIES
 Ohio State leads the overall series 80-63 with a 3-1 lead when playing at neutral sites during Big Ten tournament action. Thad Matta is 6-7 vs. the Badgers during his nine seasons as a head coach, including a 2-1 mark in the conference tourney action.

Turner Reaches 500
 Evan Turner became the 27th Buckeye all-time to score 500 or more points in a season after leading the Buckeyes with 19 points Friday in the win over Wisconsin. Turner has 507 points this season in 30 games (16.9 ppg.). Jamar Butler (554) and Kosta Koufos (534) reached the 500-point mark last season. Turner’s 2008-09 season is tied for the No. 36 spot among Buckeyes with 500 or more points. Jerry Francis scored 507

  Sophomore Jon Diebler reached 100 career 3-pointers made (132-366) with five vs. Indiana Jan. 31 … connecting on 42 percent of his treys (84-200) this season, up from 28.9 percent (48-166) as a freshman … set a single-game career mark with eight made 3s (10 atts.) at Northwestern (Feb. 22) … in 18 Big Ten games this season, Diebler has made 60-of-132 treys (.455) … with 3 3-pointers vs. Northwestern March 8, took over the No. 9 spot on the career trey chart (132) previously held by Ivan Harris (2004-07) with 129. 
  Sophomore Dallas Lauderdale made his first career start vs. Delaware State (Nov. 20) … has rejected 61 shots this season in 30 games after blocking 15 in 32 games as a freshman … rejected four Wisconsin shots Friday … Lauderdale is shooting 70 percent from the field (53-76) and is a career 67 percent shooter (65-96).
  Junior Kyle Madsen appeared in his 39th game as a Buckeye against Wisconsin Friday … played seven key minutes with the Ohio State big men in foul trouble.
  Sophomore Evan Turner has been the consistent contributor this season for the Buckeyes … reached 800 career points (820) in the Northwestern game March 8 with 17 … has 172 field goals and 154 free throws made this season … reached 200 career assists (209) with a career-high nine helpers in road win at Iowa March 3 … at least one assist in every game this season and has 116 on the year … has 2 or more steals in 14 games this season … 26 career games with 2 or more thefts … Ohio State is 30-11 when Turner scores 10 or more points.
  Freshman William Buford has tallied double-figure points in 15 of the last 21 games and has 17 double-figure outings this season … scored nine points in the Wisconsin win Friday, including a stretch of seven-consecutive points … his 3-pointer at the half-time buzzer put Ohio State up 29-28 at the half … he then scored the first four points of the second half for the Buckeyes.
   Junior transfer Jeremie Simmons has 42 made 3s on the year and has tallied at least one in 26 of 30 games … hit a pair of treys vs. Wisconson Friday and two late free throws that helped secure the win.
  Center B.J. Mullens has 267 points on the season and is shooting 65 percent from the field 112-173) … double figures in 12 of last 18 games …. shot 70 percent from the field in Big Ten play (78-111) … recorded first career double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds at Northwestern Feb. 18.
  Guard P.J. Hill has been in the starting lineup in each of the last five games after coming off the bench the first 25 games of the season … Ohio State is 4-1 with Hill as the starter at the point … Ohio State had lost its previous three games before Hill  cracked the starting lineup.
