“I’m excited about the opportunity to work with The Ohio State Golf Club courses,” Lucas said. “I’m looking forward to helping the teams and the University, working with the members and promoting the club.

“The Scarlet Course looks terrific,” he said. “When I’ve played it before it was difficult and it looks more so now. The club itself is fantastic. What they’ve done is really nice. The Hall of Fame Wall and the upgrades to the club house are great. They are moving in the right direction and I’d like to help get them there.”

Jay said the Ohio State golf community will benefit from Lucas’ expertise.

“We are excited to have someone with his experience and quality coming to manage The Ohio State Golf Club,” Jay said. “With his management experience, he will be a great addition to our staff.”
