Columbus, Ohio – The Big Ten conference office announced that Ohio State swimmer Liz Li has been named the Big Ten Swimmer of the Week for her performances at last weekend’s Shamrock Invitational.

Li earned five top-three finishes overall and won two individual events for the Buckeyes, posting an NCAA A Standard time in the 100 breaststroke with a readout of 54.31, as well as an NCAAA B Standard time in the 50 freestyle with a clocking of 22.52 at the Shamrock Invitational.

Li also helped the 200 (1:30.59) and 400 (3:20.53) freestyle relays to second and third-place finishes, respectively. She was the third leg of Ohio State’s 200 medley relay that registered a time of 1:49.59 to earn bronze.

The Big Ten Swimmer of the Week award is the fourth of her career.
