Columbus, Ohio – After sweeping all three events at the inaugural Minnesota Diving Invitational, Christo Law, a junior from San Antonio, Texas, has been named the Big Ten Diver of the Week.

Law performed wondrously over the three-day meet that began on Thursday. On the first day of competition, Law claimed the title on the three-meter board beating out 24 other competitors. He scored a final-round tally of 395.60 to beat Alan Leblang (Minnesota).

He returned to the one-meter on Friday with another quality performance. Law scored a meet-high readout of 333.60 in the finals to claim a convincing win over Leblang by 7.40 points. On Saturday, he closed out the three-day meet with the nation’s best score on the platform, a 384.60, that helped him win by more than 30 points.

Law has now won five diving titles this season. The Ohio State swimming and diving program is back in action this weekend, Friday through Sunday, at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion hosting the OSU Invite.
