COLUMBUS, Ohio — Kyle Kuhlman has been added to the Ohio State Athletics Communications staff as an assistant director, Dan Wallenberg, associate athletics director for communications announced. Kuhlman will serve as the primary contact for the Buckeye men’s and women’s volleyball and men’s and women’s golf programs.

Kuhlman, a native of Ottawa, Ohio, spent the past seven years with Indiana University Athletics. Working with the Hoosier football and baseball teams since 2010, Kuhlman was the primary media relations contact for the Indiana baseball team that advanced to the 2013 College World Series. Previously, Kuhlman was the IU sports contact for wrestling, women’s volleyball, women’s tennis, men’s golf and men’s tennis.

Prior to his time at Indiana, Kuhlman was a graduate assistant with the Bowling Green State University Athletics Communications department from 2005-07, while completing his master’s degree in sport administration. At BGSU, Kuhlman was the primary contact for women’s volleyball and baseball and the secondary contact for men’s basketball.

After graduating from Bowling Green in 2005, Kuhlman served as the public relations intern for the Toledo Mud Hens Baseball Club, the Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers.
