The NCAA has granted kicker Josh Huston an additional year due to medical hardship. The compliance office received word earlier today. Huston originally enrolled at Ohio State in 2000 and was redshirted as a true freshman. He missed all of the 2002 season with a hip injury.

Quote from Coach Jim Tressel:
“We are excited that Josh will have the opportunity to realize his dream of being the Ohio State kicker. Josh has worked hard during his career and I know he is looking forward to this year. He is coming off an impressive spring and I thought he really stepped up in the kick scrimmage.”
