%^$%^$Columbus, Ohio — Ohio State strength and conditioning coach Dave Kennedy submitted his resignation today in order to “pursue other career opportunities.”%^$

%^$Kennedy, who works primarily with football, is completing his twelfth year at Ohio State. He was hired by former football coach John Cooper in June of 1989.%^$

%^$Kennedy did not reveal his future plans, but said, “I made this decision a while ago, but chose to stay until this time to ensure as smooth a transition as possible while the team began preparation for the upcoming season.”%^$

%^$”Dave has been an integral part of the program the past 12 years and we wish him the very best,” said Director of Athletics Andy Geiger. “He is a terrific strength coach and a sensational person.”
