Junior Jacob Buchanan Competing at 52nd International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) World Championships

Sophomore Jacob Buchanan will represent the United States at the 52nd International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) World Championships being held in Changwon, South Korea. Jacob will be competing in the 50 meter Junior Men’s Three Position event that takes place on Monday, September 10th. Jacob is part of a three-athlete team that will represent the United States in the Junior Men’s Three Position event along with William Shaner (University of Kentucky) and Peter Fiori (United States Air Force Academy).

“The World Championships is one of the most prestigious events in our sport and Jacob earning the opportunity to compete as a member of Team USA is a fantastic accomplishment. Traveling across the world to South Korea to compete will be a great challenge and experience for him and I know that he is ready to represent the United States and compete against the best in the world,” said Head Coach Ryan Tanoue.
