COLUMBUS, Ohio – Incoming Ohio State men’s lacrosse freshmen Josh Kirson and Dan Rooney have been selected to participate in the Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Game. The contest will be held at Johnny Unitas Stadium in Towson, Md., at 8 p.m. Friday, with the game televised by ESPNU.

Kirson is a goalie from Newton, Mass., who played at The Rivers School and The Hill Academy. Rooney, a native of St. James, N.Y., was an attackman for Smithtown East.

The Top 44 senior boys in good academic standing are selected by a committee for the game. All participants in the game are recognized as Under Armour All-Americans.

Faceoff specialist Christian Feliziani, who attended Episcopal Academy and is from Boothwyn, Pa., will also be recognized as an Under Armour All-American. He is one of 10 players who will be competing for Team USA at the FIL U-19 Men’s Lacrosse World Championships in July and is unable to attend the All-America game.
