The Ohio State men’s basketball program will start both the 2018-19 and 2019-20 men’s basketball seasons against the University of Cincinnati, the programs announced Tuesday. The Bearcats will open a newly-renovated Fifth Third Arena against the Buckeyes in 2018 with Ohio State playing host in Columbus in 2019. Although dates for the games have not been determined, the game will take place on the first allowable date of competition in each of the next two years.

Freshman Tatum Skaggs was named the Western Collegiate Hockey Association Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Skaggs opened her Ohio State career with a two-goal game against RPI on Friday, and followed it up with another goal and an assist in Saturday’s 4-0 win. After the first weekend of season, Skaggs is tied for WCHA lead in both goals (three) and in points-per-game (2.00), while being tied for fourth in points overall (four).

Sammy Edwards and Devon Kerr, members of the No. 15 Ohio State women’s soccer team, have garnered Big Ten weekly awards after the Buckeyes’ 1-0 win over No. 7 Penn State, the conference office announced Tuesday. Edwards was named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week while Kerr earned Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of the Week laurels.
The first official team practice of 2017-18 occurs one week from today when the No. 2 Ohio State University wrestling squad fills the training room on Tuesday, Oct. 10. The Buckeyes are scheduled to compete four times in Columbus and season tickets are ON SALE NOW!
