Eleanor Gabriel scored twice and the No. 12 Ohio State women’s soccer team earned its sixth-consecutive shutout to run its win streak to six in a 2-0 victory over Maryland on a rainy Thursday night at Ludwig Field in College Park, Md. With the win, the Buckeyes improve to 12-2-1 overall, 7-1-0 in the Big Ten.
The Ohio State University women’s ice hockey team returns to its home ice to host the No. 5 University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs for a Western Collegiate Hockey Association series this weekend. Game one of the series is scheduled for a 6:07 p.m. start on Friday night, while Saturday’s game is set for a 3:07 p.m. puck drop. Both games are at the OSU Ice Rink, and admission is free.
The No. 25 Buckeyes are headed to the East Coast for a pair of Big Ten games against No. 16 Maryland (Friday) and No. 18 Rutgers (Sunday). The Buckeyes currently have a record of 7-6 (0-4 Big Ten) headed into the weekend.
Rosters for the Ohio State baseball team’s Scarlet & Gray World Series have been set, head coach Greg Beals announced Thursday. Director of operations Blair Everhart will once again coach Scarlet, while volunteer video coordinator Matt Angle will lead team Gray.
