%^$Indiana stepped up its intensity, posting 16 of the next 17 points, to build a 53-36 lead that would not be threatened again with 5:45 left on the clock.%^$

%^$Both teams struggled from the field, as the Buckeyes managed 30.5 percent (18-of-59) shooting, while the Hoosiers weren’t much better at 37.3 percent (22-of-59). Ohio State shut down the Indiana outside game, holding the Hoosiers to 0-for-14 shooting from behind the three-point arc.%^$

%^$The Buckeyes return to action Sunday afternoon, traveling to State College, Pa., for a 2 p.m. contest with No. 24 Penn State. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
