COLUMBUS, Ohio – St. John Arena opens its doors for the 2018-19 season on Sunday (Dec. 9) when the second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes (3-0, 0-0 B1G) host No. 19 Wisconsin (6-0, 1-0 B1G) for a 4 p.m. ET dual.

HISTORY WITH THE BADGERS
Wisconsin owns a 29-21-1 advantage in the all-time series which started in 1925. Since Tom Ryan’s arrival in Columbus, the Buckeyes have flipped the script with a 5-2 ledger against the Badgers. Ohio State has outscored UW 57-21 in the two most recent meetings combined.

VEGAS WINNINGS
• Ohio State has won back-to-back-to-back Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational titles
• Ohio State owns six team titles at the event since 2009 (2009, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18)
• Ohio State has finished in the Top-5 eight straight seasons
• The Buckeye lineup owns nine individual titles: (2015 – Jordan | 2016 – Jordan, McKenna | 2017 – Pletcher, Martin, Moore | 2018 – McKenna, Martin, Moore)

In the 2018 tournament, Myles Martin was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler. The Buckeyes registered an overall record of 38-11 (.776) which included a 16-6 mark (.727) vs. top-20 opponents.

BIG TEN CONFERENCE HONORS MYLES MARTIN
Myles Martin was recognized as a Big Ten Wrestler of the Week on Dec. 4. His 5-0 weekend in Vegas included three major decisions and a pin. Two of those majors came against top-20 opponents before capping his title run off by more than doubling up the nation’s third-ranked 184-pounder, 11-5, in the finals.

POUND-FOR-POUND
FloWrestling maintains a `pound-for-pound’ Top-20 and Ohio State represents 20-percent of the group. The Buckeyes included are No. 8 Myles Martin, No. 11 Joey McKenna, No. 15 Kollin Moore and No. 18 Micah Jordan.
