Hanna Gresser Claims Second Top 20 Finish At Phillips 66 National Championships

IRVINE, Calif. – Rising sophomore Hanna Gresser highlighted the fourth day of competition at the USA Swimming Phillips 66 National Championships held at the William Woollett Aquatic Center in Irvine, Calif. After placing in the Top 15 in the 50 Breast during yesterday’s events, Gresser followed up with a 20th-place finish in the 100 Breast, clocking in at 1:09.88.

Molly Kowal registered a 400 Free time of 4:14.52, dropping 1.51 seconds from her personal best.

Jason Mathews, who placed in the Top 25 in the 50 Breast on Friday, also posted a personal best in the 100 Breast with a time of 1:02.14.

Competition resumes tomorrow for the fifth and final day of USA National Championships. OSU swimmers appear in the men’s 200 IM, the men’s 50 Free, the women’s 1500 Free and men’s 800 Free.
