Ramirez enjoyed the best tournament of his career as he posted rounds of 73-70-70. That is the first tournament of his career in which he finished below par and is tied for his lowest 54-hole score. His Sunday 70 included five birdies which was his best of the weekend.
Grimmer has now posted five-straight rounds at famed Pebble Beach at par or better with his scores of 71-70-72 coupled with hi 68 and 69 in the final two rounds last year. He had a team-high six birdies in his round on Sunday to finish the weekend with a total of 14 birdies and one eagle.
Daniel Wetterich was the third Buckeye to finish the event under-par as he posted a final round of even-par 72 to finish at 1-under 215. He made a total of nine birdies on the weekend and was the only Buckeye not to post a double-bogey in the tournament.
Will Voetsch, who was making his Buckeye debut this weekend, finished a shot behind Wetterich at even-par 216. He shot a 3-under 69 in his first round as a Buckeye on Friday and finished his round of 74 on Sunday with back-to-back birdies on holes 17 and 18.
Caden Orewiler improved each round as he posted scores of 78-75 and then 73 on Sunday. His final round featured three birdies including one on his opening hole and one on his final hole.
Jeg Coughlin III finished his weekend with a round of 77. He was 5-over on the opening nine holes but came home in even par with a birdie on the iconic par-3 17th.
The Buckeyes finished the event at 1-over par and was eighth place. The team returns to the state of Ohio for the next two tournaments beginning with the Inverness Invitational in Toledo on Sept. 18 and 19.
