8 a.m. — The course is going to play very long today because of the rain that came through Columbus yesterday. The greens are in good shape because of the rain and the grounds crew rolled them this morning. The Buckeyes are excited to get out there and had some brownies in the locker room to get them going this morning. They are out on the range right now and ready to go!
11:45 a.m. — Halfway through the first round and the Buckeyes are battling near the top of the leaderboard, in second place right now and just three strokes back from the lead. Conditions are sunny and warming up, but a bit gusty at times.
1:45 p.m. — The first round is completed and Ohio State is just two strokes back from the leader East Tennessee State. Brad Wright led the field with an even-par 71 and three Buckeyes are in the Top 10. Click here to read the complete recap.
The 40th Annual Robert Kepler Intercollegaite takes place at The OSU Golf Club’s Scarlet Course Saturday and Sunday. Teams tee off at 8:30 a.m. both days and admission is free.
