Lesslee was rated as high as the No. 4 power forward in the country by All-Star Girls Report and Blue Star Index in high school and was ranked seventh-best player in the nation by USA Today. She was a three-time all-conference performer and averaged 16.9 points and 7.0 rebounds as a senior.

Lesslee led Cincinnati Princeton to the Great Midwestern Conference title last season and a Ohio High School Athletics Association district championship. She was First Team All-Ohio selection in junior and senior seasons
