Dec. 27, 2016 SportsTime Ohio is excited to announce Gene Smith: Revealed – a new feature program profiling the career of Gene Smith, Senior Vice President & Wolfe Foundation Endowed Athletics Director at The Ohio State University.
This thirty minute special premieres Thursday, December 29 at 7pm on SportsTime Ohio. The show will replay later that evening at 10pm and throughout the upcoming months. Check local listing for additional replays.
Gene Smith: Revealed gets up close and personal with the one of the most powerful people in collegiate sports. Sitting atop the OSU athletics department, Smith oversees the nation’s most comprehensive and one of its most successful collegiate athletic programs.
From player to coach to administrator, the Cleveland native has experienced success throughout his entire career. As athletics director, Smith is committed to developing student athletes by surrounding them with the best facilities and coaches. Under his leadership, the Ohio State athletics department has thrived, winning numerous conference and national, individual and team, athletic championships and awards — making him one of the most well-respected athletics directors in the nation.
